What Most People Get Wrong About Body Armor

When most people hear “body armor,” they picture something heavy, obvious, and uncomfortable. That used to be true.
What’s changed isn’t just the weight. Modern soft armor is built for everyday life. It’s thin enough to wear under normal clothing and flexible enough to move with you. You don’t need to change how you dress or how you live.
Another use case is wearing soft armor under hard armor to reduce Backface deformation (BFD).
Another misconception is that body armor is only for law enforcement or the military. The reality is that civilians face unpredictable risks too. In schools, offices, houses of worship, and public spaces. Wanting protection for yourself or your family isn’t extreme. It’s practical.
We have more civilians taking their safety seriously, than ever before. We have more women serving in the military than ever before, yet nobody (except us) is designing for them. We serve the underserved demographic, and we do it well.

The goal isn’t to live in fear. It’s to live normally, knowing you’ve taken one more responsible step to protect the people who matter most.
Body armor today isn’t about looking prepared. It’s about being prepared — discreetly.
